3. Categories of Personal Data Processed
3.1 Personal data required during registration

Personal data requested during the registration process:
• Name
• Birth name
• Mother’s maiden name
• ID card number
• Address / Place of residence

3.2 Technical data

Smart Balance Kft. selects and operates the IT tools used in the provision of its services in such a way that the processed data:

• are accessible to authorized persons (availability);
• their authenticity and verification are ensured (data integrity);
• their unchanged state is verifiable (data consistency);
• and they are protected against unauthorized access (data confidentiality).

Smart Balance Kft. protects the data with appropriate measures against unauthorized access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion, or destruction, as well as against accidental destruction.

Smart Balance Kft. applies technical, organizational, and administrative measures that provide a level of protection appropriate to the risks related to the data processing.

During data processing, Smart Balance Kft. ensures:
• confidentiality: information is protected so that only authorized persons have access;
• integrity: information and the methods used in its processing are accurate and complete;
• availability: information is accessible to authorized users when needed, along with the necessary tools.

3.3 Cookies
3.3.1 Purpose of cookies

Cookies:
• collect information about visitors and their devices;
• remember individual user settings used during online transactions;
• make website usage easier;
• ensure a high-quality user experience.

To provide personalized service, small data files (“cookies”) are stored on the user’s computer and read during future visits. If the browser returns a previously saved cookie, the service provider may link the user’s current visit to previous ones, but only with respect to its own content.

These cookies allow visitors to browse smartbalance.hu smoothly and use its functions and services. Their validity lasts only for the browsing session; they are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

Smartbalance.hu uses third-party cookies from Google Analytics. Through these statistical services, smartbalance.hu collects information on how visitors use the website for the purpose of development and improving user experience. These cookies remain on the user’s device until they expire or are manually deleted.

5. Purpose, Method, and Legal Basis of Data Processing
5.1 General principles

The data processing activities of Smart Balance Kft. are based on voluntary consent or statutory authorization. In cases based on consent, the data subject may withdraw the consent at any stage of the processing.

Certain data processing activities may be required by law; in such cases, we provide specific prior notice.

Data Controllers must obtain consent from data subjects if personal data is provided by someone other than the subject.

Our data protection principles comply with the applicable legislation, including:

• Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information;
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR);
• Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code;
• Act C of 2000 on Accounting;
• Act LIII of 2017 on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing;
• Act CCXXXVII of 2013 on Credit Institutions and Financial Enterprises.

6. Physical Storage Locations of Data

Personal data may be collected during website use either automatically (technical data such as IP address, device type, visited pages), or voluntarily when the user submits their name, contact details, or other information.

During system operation, technical data generated during use (e.g., during voting) are automatically logged at login and logout. These data cannot be linked to other personal information unless required by law. Only Márton Pollák and Anna Pollák have access to this data.

7. Data Transfer, Data Processing, Access to Data

There is no such company involved.

8. Rights of Data Subjects and Enforcement Options

Data subjects may request information about the processing of their personal data, as well as request correction, deletion, withdrawal, data portability, and may object to processing using the contact details above.

8.1 Right to information

Smart Balance Kft. ensures that all information required under Articles 13–14 and 15–22 and 34 of the GDPR is provided in a concise, transparent, understandable, and easily accessible form.

8.2 Right of access

Data subjects may request confirmation regarding whether their personal data is being processed and, if so, access the personal data and related information. The response will be provided within one month of submission.

8.3 Right to rectification

Data subjects may request correction of inaccurate personal data or the completion of incomplete data.

8.4 Right to erasure

Data subjects may request deletion of their personal data if:

• the data is no longer needed for its original purpose;
• consent is withdrawn and there is no other legal basis;
• the subject objects to processing;
• the data was processed unlawfully;
• deletion is required by law;
• data was collected for information society services.

Deletion cannot be performed when processing is required for: freedom of expression; legal obligations; public interest; public health; scientific/historical research; statistical purposes; or legal claims.

8.5 Right to restriction of processing

Processing must be restricted if:
• the accuracy of data is contested;
• processing is unlawful and deletion is opposed;
• data is no longer needed, but required for legal claims;
• an objection is submitted and the decision is pending.

8.6 Right to data portability

Data subjects may receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and transmit them to another controller.

8.7 Right to object

Data subjects may object to processing carried out in public interest, exercise of official authority, or legitimate interest, including profiling.

8.8 Automated decision-making and profiling

Data subjects have the right not to be subject to automated decisions, including profiling, which produce legal effects or significantly affect them.

8.9 Right to withdraw consent

Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

8.10 Right to judicial remedy

Data subjects may bring the matter before a court in case of infringement.

8.11 Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

Complaints may be submitted to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

9. Other Provisions

For data processing not listed in this notice, information is provided at the time of data collection.

We inform our clients that courts, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, administrative authorities, the NAIH, the National Bank of Hungary, and other bodies authorized by law may request the provision or transfer of information or documents.

Smart Balance Kft. only discloses personal data to authorities to the extent necessary to fulfil the purpose specified in their request.
